This set is a good choice if you would like to get right to work yarding and doing grounds maintenance around the home or manual tasks using the STIHL MSA 70 C-B battery chainsaw, but do not yet own a battery or charger from the STIHL AK system. In addition to the versatile STIHL MSA 70 C-B, this includes the STIHL AK 30 lithium-ion battery and the STIHL AL 101 standard charger. The versatile chainsaw effectively supports you when cutting branches off trees and shrubs, for example, or when processing wood. It is so quiet that you can without ear protection and even in enclosed spaces and in noise-sensitive areas such as residential neighbourhoods.
The powerful, energy-efficient EC motor and the standard 30 cm cutting attachment from the STIHL 1/4″ P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain and the STIHL Rolomatic E Mini guide bar ensure a clean cut every time.
An optimum balance of the power tools as well as a soft handle with Ergo lever offer you a lot of comfort and ensure a high level of ergonomics. You can use the control lever with potentiometer function to continuously adjust the speed of your chainsaw. The MSA 70 C-B saw chain can be retensioned quickly and safely without tools using STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning. The additional QuickStop Super chain brake increases your safety, as the chain stops immediately when you let go of the rear handle. Thanks to the transparent oil tank, you can keep an eye on the oil level at all times.
In our overview of STIHL battery life and charging times, you can see how long you can work with your STIHL MSA 70 C-B battery chainsaw and how long the battery takes to charge.
